Notice of Intent to Discontinue Water Fluoridation.
Bear Valley Water intends to discontinue the addition of hydrofluorosilicic acid to the drinking water supply. This will be done in coordination with the Borough of Chambersburg, who also recently voted to discontinue water fluoridation and is interconnected. The change is anticipated for October 2026. Please see the attached notice below for details and for information on public comment submissions. The notice was also mailed to all customers 7/1/26.
There are currently no active water quality notices.

This public meeting will be at Chairman Brake’s house – 420 Lindman Dr, Chambersburg, PA 17202 instead of the normal office location.
