The Borough of Chambersburg Water Department issued a Drought Warning to their users and are requesting a voluntary 10-15% reduction in water usage. Chambersburg supplies a significant portion of our system’s water, so Bear Valley has committed to producing more water internally while levels recover at Long Pine Run Reservoir. We still encourage our customers to save water when possible. Water conservation is a group effort and everything helps.
